Spartan Medical Associates specializes in Advanced Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (ABHRT). This treatment, also known as natural hormone therapy, restores the balance of hormones in the body. ABHRT is an effective treatment for people dealing with low testosterone, menopause, perimenopause, weight loss, or thyroid disease.

Dr. Robert Driver, MD

Bob Driver is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with 15 years of experience in general emergency medicine. Driver received his MD from Drexel University College of Medicine before completing his residency at Allegany General Hospital in western Pennsylvania. He is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the Charlotte metro area, including Carolina Healthcare System University Medical Center and Carolinas Medical Center.  

Bob started the Spartan Medical Associates in 2016 to fill a serious gap in the medical community. He sought to create proactive treatments for symptoms otherwise associated with aging. Bob wanted to mitigate the effects of weight gain, muscle loss, osteoporosis, and other issues. 

At Spartan Medical Associates, Bob works to slow or even reverse these forms of aging with personalized ABHRT. Combined with proper exercise and nutrition, Bob helps patients turn back the clock on Father Time. Away from his medical practice, he enjoys cycling, cooking, scuba diving, and spending time with family.

Dr. Douglas Miller, MD

Doug Miller is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with more than two decades of clinical experience. Doug received his MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine. Next, he completed his residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center and Jefferson Medical Center.

Two significant life events piqued Doug’s interest in ABHRT. The first was his time at the University of Maryland, where his wife dealt with thyroid issues and estrogen/progesterone imbalance. Her struggles illuminated the gravity of hormone deficiency and the potential benefits of hormone therapy.

The second was Doug’s personal experiences with andropause. As a fitness buff, he noticed he could not reap the same benefits from workouts that he did during his earlier years. Doug teamed up with Dr. Driver to relieve these hormone-influenced symptoms and to restore the health of people around the Charlotte metro area.
